The Wallace Collection welcomes families throughout the year.
Family Activities
The Collection has a range of online resources available for families, with activities to do at home with children aged 6–11 years.
Toilets and Baby Change Facilities
Public toilets, including an accessible toilet with a baby changing station, are located on the lower ground floor. Lift access is available to all floors.
Feeding and Seating
Breast-feeding is allowed anywhere in the Collection. Folding portable stools are available, please ask a member of staff for assistance. Seating will be available for those who are less able to stand, including those with mobility issues and women who are pregnant.
If you anticipate needing to sit during your visit, please pick up a folding stool from the entrance at the start of your visit. All stools will be thoroughly cleaned between each user.
Eating and Drinking
Families are welcome to bring food with them, but no food is allowed to be eaten in the galleries. Our restaurant is open daily 10.00–17.00 (last orders at 16.30), serving a range of hot and cold snacks and drinks.
Touching
Most of the Collection is on open display, but touching objects can cause unseen damage. We ask visitors not to touch objects on open display.
Exhibitions
Our exhibition programme is free for children under 12, when accompanied by a paying adult.
