About this session
Through in-depth life drawing sessions, your students will produce a range of drawings in different media that could be suitable for inclusion in their art portfolios.
Naked Bodies 1
Students will investigate the human form and how it has been portrayed by artists in the Renaissance and Rococo periods. They will undertake a range of drawing tasks in the galleries, then put their observations into practice by drawing from a female nude life model in the studio. A range of artist-quality materials are provided.
Naked Bodies 2
For students that have completed Naked Bodies 1 or who have experienced life drawing at school. Students will build on their skills through investigating the human form in movement. Students will investigate bronze sculptures in the galleries, then draw from a male nude life model in the studio.
