Book a place on our free Home Education days at the museum or explore our Collection from home.

Our family focused event days run during term time and offer the opportunity for children aged 5 to 16 to take part in relaxed hands-on learning sessions exploring a variety of themes. At event days, no school groups will be visiting the museum, and a lunch space is provided.

During Home Education days, children must always be accompanied by their supervising adult. Please ensure there are enough adults to cover our supervision ratio of 1 adult per 3 children. Drop-in activities are created for mixed aged groups. Themed sessions have a recommended age range, but all ages are welcome.

Our home education offer is only available to UK home educators.
