Exhibitions and Displays
In 2018, we opened our newly refurbished exhibition galleries on the lower ground floor, trebling the size of the previous exhibition space. The transformed space allows us to stage a regular series of major temporary exhibitions.
Our ground breaking programme aims to excite and engage by complementing the Collection’s works of art through innovative presentation and interpretation to create a series of distinctive and inclusive exhibitions.
Exhibitions are often based on or around works of art from the Collection, our history, or alternatively they reflect the areas of art and history best represented in the Wallace Collection.
The exhibitions programme is also supported by an exceptional series of displays, which stimulate engagement with the Collection and lead on excellence in curatorial enquiry.
